*By purchasing an animal at mynewturtle, you are stating that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms described below.
Paypal is the only accepted method of payment.
Mynewturtle can ship reptiles anywhere in the United States.
Live Animals:
Live animal shipments are shipped overnight delivery via UPS. We use insulated shipping boxes with hot or cold packs, depending on temperatures.
The buyer pays the $45 shipping cost. This covers the insulated box, packing material and heat/cold pack.
Shipping is only done Tuesday for arrival Wednesday by 10:30am. Animals will be shipped out the first available Tuesday after payment is made.
Someone must be home the day the reptile arrives so the package does not sit outside.
We guarantee live arrival, as long as someone is home to accept the package. DOA animals must be reported to mynewturtle within 1 HOUR of arrival. Proof of DOA must be shown with a picture of the animal. Upon approval of mynewturtle, a refund for the cost of the animal may be given. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Notification given of a DOA after 1 hour of delivery will not be refunded. We are not responsible for deceased animals if they are left outside. Mynewturtle is not responsible for any medical incidences or complications (including, but not limited to, salmonella infection) incurred by the animal(s) or the premature death of the animal(s). Also, if at any time in the future the buyer can no longer care for or want the animal(s), the buyer can return it to the seller, mynewturtle, with NO refund. All buyers must be 18 years of age or older at the time of sale.
Refunds or exchanges are not given for any lizard or gecko that arrives with a dropped tail. While this rarely occurs, some lizards or geckos can drop their tail due to the stress of shipping.
We strongly encourage all buyers read the corresponding care sheet for their animal of interest BEFORE purchasing the animal. We sell only captive bred reptiles that are eating, growing and strong at the time of sale. Since we have no control over the environment to which the animal is going, we do not guarantee the health, growth and appetite of the animal after it is in its new home. If your animal stops eating or becomes ill, please reread the care sheet, and make sure you are following it exactly.
Supplies:
Reptile supplies are shipped via USPS priority mail. Orders placed before 11:59pm will be shipped out the next business day.
