*By purchasing an animal at mynewturtle, you are stating that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms described below.
Paypal is the only accepted method of payment.
Mynewturtle can ship reptiles anywhere in the continental United States.
Shipping cost is a 1 time cost regardless of the number of reptiles purchased.
Live Animals:
Live animal shipments are shipped overnight delivery via FedEx. We use insulated shipping boxes with heat or cold packs, depending on temperatures.
The buyer pays the $100 shipping cost. This covers the insulated box, packing material, heat/cold pack, and overnight shipping.
Shipping is only done Wednesdays for arrival Thursdays by 10:30am. Animals will be shipped out the first available Wednesday after payment is made (excluding Holiday weeks). Purchases must be made by Tuesday before noon, and MyNewTurtle must confirm buyer's shipping address via email, in order for the animal to be shipped out that Wednesday. An email with the shipment tracking number will be sent out to the buyer after 5pm (AZ time) the Wednesday the animal is shipped.
Someone must be home the day the reptile arrives so the package does not sit outside.
We guarantee live arrival, as long as someone is home to accept the package. DOA animals must be reported to mynewturtle within 1 HOUR of arrival. Proof of DOA must be shown with a picture of the animal. Upon approval of mynewturtle, a refund for the cost of the animal may be given. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Notification given of a DOA after 1 hour of delivery will not be refunded. We are not responsible for deceased animals if they are left outside. Mynewturtle is not responsible for any medical incidences or complications (including, but not limited to, salmonella infection) incurred by the animal(s) or the premature death of the animal(s). Also, if at any time in the future the buyer can no longer care for or want the animal(s), the buyer can return it to the seller, mynewturtle, with NO refund. All buyers must be 18 years of age or older at the time of sale.
Refunds or exchanges are not given for any lizard or gecko that arrives with a dropped tail. While this rarely occurs, some lizards or geckos can drop their tail due to the stress of shipping.
We sell only captive bred reptiles that are eating, growing and strong at the time of sale. Since we have no control over the environment to which the animal is going, we do not guarantee the health, growth and appetite of the animal after it is in its new home.
All turtles and tortoises under 4" are sold for scientific and educational purposes only. Buyers are responsible for knowing and abiding by their state laws regarding reptile purchasing and ownership. MyNewTurtle and associates are not resposible for selling reptiles to someone against their state law. MyNewTurtle and associates are not resposible for diseases, including but not limited to, salmonella, incurred by reptiles obtained from MyNewTurtle.
Supplies:
Reptile supplies are shipped via USPS priority mail. Orders placed before 11:59pm will be shipped out the next business day.
